hmm things that help me when feeling overwhelmed..

- have a cup of tea but drink it slowly and focus abit of breathing
- have a nice long hot shower or bubble bath
-go for a walk
-watch a favourite movie or tv show
-practice some deep breathing or a meditative exercise

Hi Shaz51 when im overwhelmed i usually sit have a cuppa and listen to music this helps me i hope it will assist u if u try. Xx

I have a hot shower. Text a friend or family member. Take my dog for a walk. Sit outside in the sun.

Some breathing & a mindfulness meditation usually helps me when feeling overwhelmed.

It's not always possible to do that at the time (when I most need it).

Ideally, talking to someone (eg a support phone line) often helps the most.

When I am feeling overwhelmed I take some sort of self-care time out.  I am loving the suggestions coming in ....,

Recently I have been doing more walking now that we have moved to a more walking friendly area.  Also good with our new living arrangement with mum.and dad inlaw so close I can just walk out lock the door behind me and knowing the little people are safe and supervised.
