Few days ago I went to local model train show.  Photos I took were taken on my phone and not the best.

these are some I found on a website from last year.

Expensive hobby that is also very relaxing.  Only things that come ready made are the trains, track and some accessories.  Some stage after I get the space I want in my garage plus have 💰💰 I will starting process of having working layout in my garage.

Most photos are of layouts in HO scale. Last few photos are in N SCALE, size I will be using.Size of different model train locos

height of n scale locomotive is approx same height of Lego people

@Flutterbug9model trains are so cooll. When I was with my ex we set up a layout together it was only the size of a table tennis board and it was N scale, very expensive but lots of fun to do ☺️.

Maybe try and get second hand stuff to start with @Flutterbug9 ? It's been a 'one day' thing for me for years

@TAB @Dreamy   I prefer n scale due to being able to have more items within small space.  I’ve got quite a few new train sets.  Also some new and second hand locos and rolling stock plus some track accessories and buildings.  

Going to need a large layout due to one train set I have which consists of 13 carriages plus loco, is about 3 foot long
