Great work on your frog design @Dreamy ! I love your colours and how well they work together. I was in the reject shop in a new town I’m moving to - had to go to my new uni on Friday to check out student accommodation so I decided to check out the local shops as well as part of my trip - and I purchased a new mandala colouring book along with a small sunflower diamond art kit that was on clearance. There was also a Big W in the shopping centre as well but I managed to control myself from buying some more wool which I was quite proud of.
Tonight, I’ve started a new baby jumper which I’ll work on whilst I’m on the train to Bendigo for a short holiday starting tomorrow morning. I’m also feeling stressed and anxious with the upcoming move and the whole getting into uni thing so the knitting is helping me with my feelings and associated mental health issues. Moving house is so stressful, especially since our property manager has been trouble ever since we moved in 10 months ago and she failed endless times at VCAT to get us evicted for various petty things. She’s not renewing the lease as she thinks we’re trouble - not true- and I’m going to take her for compensation at the end of the lease for the issues with the property. Hello Bendigo holiday tomorrow to escape this stress where I can relax and explore the town I haven’t been to since I was 18- I’m now 48.
