Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Blackcloud not sure a hair dryer would work if it's only putting out heat? I don't own a hair dryer so I'm not sure lol.

We are always learning things in life.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

Hi @Eve7 sorry I missed your post, I just saw this just now, but goodnight & well done in almost completing your assignment!! 😊

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Dreamy fair enough haha, I think it’s fair to say that next time I cook chicken again that I’ll have to put it up at a slightly high-heat (like level 7-8) instead of putting it up a bit higher than that (level 8-9). FYI, I’m using an induction cooktop which is like the electric/technology version of a cooktop that’s completely different to a standard cooktop (I don’t know how else to really explain it I’m sorry 😭😂)

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Blackcloud haha great explanation i reckon. I have gas cooking, I feel it's so much easier sometimes. Oh well it's a learning curve.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Dreamy The fact that my fire alarm went off during this time towards the time that I’m like supposed to sleep is crazy. Maybe if it went off during daytime then it probably wouldn’t be as crazy as it was than if it happened during late evening/early night otherwise. 😖

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Blackcloud yes it's picked the worst possible time to go off. Oh well it's over and done with now, how's the cooking going?

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Blackcloud a hair dryer, high speed low heat would work for a standard smoke detector as it would dissapate the smoke particles, the same as a fan would, but it wouldn't work with a thermal type detector.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Dreamy Yeah so I’ve already turned off the stove and immediately stopped cooking when the fire alarm went off. But after that, the chicken that I’ve already cooked just before then turned out to be completely fine taste wise 😊👍

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@Blackcloud well that's a bonus that the chicken you had already cooked tasted good. Late night snack with added drama 😂

Re: Sunday Social Chat
