ohh, okay was about same price, just went to effort to get price, bought 4x what needed etc, made 4 orders to get it through as said low stock ... and .. could have got it off the shelf ... @Dreamy  ..gave me something to do for a while anyways lol

its called weekly shopping trip @Dreamy  no coles or woolies where I am , just foodland and $7/kg potatoes eg, although meat prices dropped recently seems

@TAB oh I remember those days. Only had a foodland and very few stores to go to. But back then things weren't so expensive although foodland was still expensive compared to Coles and woolies but money was never an issue back then.

i remember late 90s just as property was taking off was paying $80/wk for shady 1 br semi w nice big shared yard and proper bathtub. before I went to uni worked at place few k's away, rode pushbike, got $490 cash in hand and rode straight to bank in peak hour traffic lol saved heaps, was eating okay etc used to do big shop once a fortnight load everything into duffle bag on back on pushbike was so heavy could not have walked even a  few steps with it lol

had my landline, went to uni b4 long, bus stop 1min walk ha ha was meant to be lol, deli down the road, burger joint 5mins walk .. seems ideal now. also similar place now be $500/wk plus lol ok $600 probs lol

goto to get moving to shops here, going dirty  lol will shower later, cant care
