HI @NikNik

I am having trouble finding my posts.  Are there sections missing from the forum?

I can't seem to find my post 'Life after hospital'.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I found a bottle of homemade fruit juice in the fridge ...

So I asked the 'fairy' who brought it ... if I may have a glass ... she went through a thorough and very analytical discussion ... implying that it was my decision and to risk getting a bug from a cold ... as she fessed up that she had directly drunk out of the bottle.

Ahhh ... we are all so careful & analytical these days ... I said I am used to living dangerously .. but not actually doing it in a deliberate way ... if I have some .. I saidthen  that will be a deliberate risk ... FFS ... so I have had a gulp ... for dessert after the soup ... its her way of contributing to the fact that I supply ... bed shower electricity and fridge etc ... and clean linen and bathroom and the shopping ... hmmm ...

Now if I catch a cold .. before the big SING coming up ... it will be all my own silly fault ...

It tasted ok.

I ditto @Former-Member 's comments @Appleblossom but the belly laugh won out. Have a good night @Former-Member. I think I'm running out of steam for a bit too. I really hope you don't get sick @Appleblossom. Ahhh the joys of living this with baby dragon other halves. 💜😊

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi Everyone .... 😊

Took myself off for a time-out this afternoon .... back home now and preparing Mexican for dinner at our house .... salsa, rice, guocomale and salad ....

Have read along with the posts .... but just want to say a general "have a good night everybody". It sounds like it's been a tiring week for most, but with some great gains ....

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

All good ... lol Woman Happy

it was just weird ... my son got sick at her house once and she freaked out .. I tried to tell her its ok ... we do due diligence ... but we cant control everything in life ... things happen ... we take responsibility .. but that IS different to control ... she is gradually learning ... I hope rather than stressing us all out when things dont go completely to plan.

I actually like her a lot ... but it is a delicate ... overdetermined situation  .. we all have vulnerabilities and needs ... have to live in hope.

I have vitamin Cs ... green tea ... and apple cider vinegar drink ... lined up next to me ... to keep the boogies away ... I can sometimes still sing when I am sick etc ... depends where the actual infection is located and how it effects the voice.

Nite nite ... I am not sure if I can sleep but will log off for a while

cheers and thanks for the company.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @Jacques

Wonderful looking desert - fantastic -

And cracking a tooth with the old grind, grind, grind - ah yes - ny friends and other people - we are a dentist's nightmare - did you know they could tell about our noctural tooth-grinding by the wear-patterns on their teeth - I have broken my teeth grinding - I even had a bite plate but I broke that too

And @Former-Member -

Hi - How are you - that savoury mince sounds wonderful - I will have to make something like that myself

I had one of my delivered meals yesterday - steamed cod - beautiful - with a variety of vegetables - pumpkin, carrot, peas and cabbabge and - [ugh] mashed potato - I can never enjoy mash potatoes - but they happne and no - I didn't eat it - I ate everything else though
