I’d like to, but our dog has been such a pain with the kittens downstairs @Snowie she knows they are down there, she finds places upstairs and sits and just sniffs and sniffs. She even pulled carpet up. She’ll sit at the door downstairs and bark. She’s so annoying!
so we’ll see.
no real plans for the rest of the week. SW wants to come tomorrow. Saturday nothing, but I think my CM is coming to do a home visit. Sunday D and I are doing a market. D likes to help at markets now. To use the eftpos machine. That’s about it! But hopefully she will be a bit more helpful than that considering mums away.
what about you?
yesterday
Dogs are so good at sensing things @Bow They seem to know exactly what is happening and where.
I hope the SW does come tomorrow hon. Give you some support.
That is a lot, doing the market by yourself. Having to set up and pack up without your mum there to help. I hope D can help out and lessen the load a bit.
I need to go to the supermarket tomorrow. Our town has a huge festival on over the weekend. We get lots of people to it and they close down 2 of the main streets. So need to avoid the main part of town for the weekend. Way too many people and not many places to park. Haven't any plans for the weekend yet.

A bit too good I’d say! @Snowie
I’m hoping my SW can come. And I hope she can just be a bit. I don’t want all this talk of what I need to do. It don’t help. I need gentle at the moment. Listening. Space to talk.
Yeah… it’s a lot. Markets are a huge effort even with mum there. I will most certainly be on the couch or in bed for the afternoon when we get home.
Hopefully you can get in and get out quickly to the shops.
what you having for dinner? I need to get up and sort dinner, but not sure what yet
yesterday
A listening space can be really helpful @Bow Just a safe space to be able to say what we need too, without trying to 'fix' things all the time.
After doing everything at the market I think you deserve more than an afternoon on the couch/bed. I'd say the next day too. I guess with Xmas coming up you would get busier at the markets too.
I plan to go to the shops early. Less people, less chance of running into someone.
We are having chicken curry. Put it all in the slow cooker this morning. A few stirs during the day and done. Not much effort having to be put in.
I'd say something easy for dinner hon. Is D picky or ok with whatever you cook?
yesterday
D is extremely fussy @Snowie she won’t try new things. I cooked her cauliflower, carrots, chicken nuggets and pasta. I had a small salad. Dinners have been a struggle the last couple of nights. Either zero appetite or have nausea.
had the lawns done today. And mum asked me to go spray it with weed and feed afterwards. Just went and did that. But I didn’t read the instructions properly and sprayed it all up into my face 😩 stupid idiot. Wiped it off with my tshirt but face feels a bit weird and tingly. Oh well. A magpie enjoyed the shower, kept moving it away from him cause I don’t know what’s in it, but it kept moving back.
house is such a mess Snowie. Stuff everywhere. Junk. Clutter. I hate it. But do I have energy and motivation to tidy? No
yesterday
At least D will eat some veggies @Bow better than just nuggets and chips.
I find it an effort to make dinner at times too. Thats why I like my slow cooker. Chuck everything in it in the morning and by the time dinner comes, it's ready.
Do you normally like cooking or is it something your mum does?
I actually find baking can help be a distraction at times.
Hopefully your face feels ok soon. Maybe a shower or washing your face might help.
It can be really hard to find the motivation to clean hon. Just getting out of bed can be hard let alone looking after the house. Go gentle on yourself. You're coping with a lot at the moment.
yesterday
Slow cooker sounds like a really good idea @Snowie I love a good stew in the slow cooker. We tend to use it more over winter.
Mum and I share the cooking. I use to really like cooking, but since my ED it’s become rather challenging. Having a menu for the week takes a bit of that pressure off. But cooking is still hard.
I finally folded the basket of washing today, so I have an empty basket that I’m gonna fill up with stuff to take back downstairs.
yesterday
I love my slow cooker @Bow Even made bread in it before!
I make a menu for the week too. Depending on when the kids are working or out depends on what I cook.
Yea for the clothes folded hon. Well done. You have achieved something today. Sometimes it's the little things that can make a difference.
Going to head to bed hon. Been awake since about 4am. Have to get up early to make sure S gets up for his exam. Two to go.
I hope your SW comes tomorrow hon and your able to unload what you need.
Will check in on you tomorrow 💕💕
