Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hahaha @LilithLucy . Spite! Yes I know what spite is, but I thought it was the latest term for some hobby or something! LOL.

I actually have my own insight into 'spite'. I'll go share it on your other thread.

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hey 👋  37 mum of 2 girls. Been diagnosed bipolar and adhd for around 7 years, the past 3 years in particular have been really hard. Hospitalised with a full on mixed bipolar episode, which wasn't properly treated.. eventually leading to the horrible post manic depressive episode. As of now I've got a new psychiatrist who's unsure if I  even have bipolar (very much disagree). We did the bpd assessment he suggested and I'm sitting in what they call "the grey area" so.. ironically I'm right on the border of having borderline personality disorder. Anyway, mainly here because I find being a mum and having mental illnesses, it's incredibly hard in your mid 30's to make friendships, let alone maintain them and I would absolutely love some nice, funny (dark humour especially) people to connect with. I also absolutely love anything alternative, metelcore, nu metal, rock n roll's in the blood 🤘☺️

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hey @Bpdbipolarbunny ,

You're certainly not alone!

Parenthood can be one of the most rewarding yet stressful things a person can go though.

There are other folk here who have a bipolar diagnosis. They may be able to share there insights. I just read a new thread about it Bipolar help

@pinklollipop15 may be able to share some parenting insights.

As for BPD, feel free to have a browse around at Raising Awareness of BPD - Flipping the Script

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hey everybody.

Thought I'd introduce myself a little bit.

I've had anxiety and depression for the majority of my life, am now in my mid 30s.

I'm a little worries about revealing I'm a drug user. As I don't know if you guys accept addicts on this forum.

Anyways looking forward to meeting you folks.

Thanks

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hey everyone. Thought I'd introduce myself a little bit. Also had a few questions.

I have had anxiety and depression most of my life, am in my mid 30s.

I'm also an addict, which I'm not sure if you guys allow folks like me in the forum.

Recently had some health issues to do with my heart.

This past week I've been having a rough time, but it's ok.

Looking forward to meeting you folks.

Thanks.

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hey all. Newbie here. Going through a pretty hard time right now. I don’t really have anyone to talk to. Anyone free to chat?

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Thanks Shaz, it’s nice to meet you. I almost lost my mother a week ago. My last remaining family member and since then it’s been non stop hospital visits and having to travel over two hours every day to care for her pets and get her house ready for when she comes home. I’m exhausted and haven’t had a break. I also don’t have any help. Not sure when they will allow her home. Feeling a little over whelmed.

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Sending you lots of understanding hugs 🫂 @Lonewolf73

It can be very overwhelming

Have you talk to the doctor about your situation? Do you live near your mum ?

Doctor can help arrange care for you mum when she is able to go back home

I was a carer for my mum and we have to remember to take care of ourselves xx
