Our eldest daughter (D1) is getting married in a few months time.  

It's a big fat Greek wedding ......... lots to do !!  And that's with an 18th birthday party for D3 later this month, and a 21st for son (S2) in another couple of months ........... We tend to have these "perfect storm" scenarios that keep happening.

Better make that a strong coffee now @Former-Member.  I'm flagging, with D3 on the stage tonight with a school event to get to yet, and sending one of my paintings interstate for a competition, so that needs wrapping up and preparing tonight for travel across the country tomorrow .........

WH (Wayward Husband) left again this morning to go interstate, so the chaos metre has dropped a few levels.

Definitely time for a coffee ❣

Ooops, read that wrong.  It's your daughter getting married!  In that case I really hope there's no Bridezillaness.  Although you can probably keep it in check with your own kids.

My partner and I never got round to getting married and it would be a bit strange to do so now after so many years.  So I expect our daughter to swing completely the other way and have the whole shebang.  Meringue dress and everything.  She's only ten though so we've got a way to go yet 🙂

"Bridezilla" in this case is my daughter 😆 but she hasn't been too bad at all.  She's a bit bossy, but that can be pretty good for getting everybody and everything lined up for a wedding.  "Horses for.courses" as they say !

You're "common-law" married @Former-Member   You've got the heart and soul of marriage going on obviously, to be together this length of time, and with your daughter in there too.  Very special.
