Your very luck others help where your mum couldn't.
My mum lost her right leg in a motorbike accident when I was two. I've only ever known her with one leg and crutches. This didn't stop her, she's work as a hairdresser and held multi jobs at one time, drives, could chase us around the house, she hard two more kids after me (5 in total) bit the accident put mum and dad in debt so they had to work. Which left us most of the time with a adult. No one came to school events, or other things.

Why did she never hold or hug you?

Hi nice to talk to you 🙂 Mum had to have major surgery on her right hand & it took over 1 year for her to start to use her hand again & the trauma of such a terrifying accident took its toll on my mum. She could not use her hand until fully recovered so my sister & cousin had to pick me up & hold me & do the things for me that only 2 hands can do with a new born baby. I actually do not remember anything about it, as I was too tiny & young to know what was happening anyway. Mum & my sister talked about it to me & I have some photos from that time.
Your mum sounds wonderful too. You are lucky to have a brave & loving mum too. We are both lucky & Blessed in the long run hey? So nice that you wrote to me, thank you keep in touch anytime!
