I think my intentions for the week are to try and do some journaling at least once, as well as writing some notes to take to my next therapy session since I often get carried away with going off topic sometimes. there’s so many productive things I wish I could do right now and I’ve been struggling so much with feeling really guilty and pressured to just move on, get out of this big depressive blob of not functioning well and get back to all the things I need/want to do but honestly I have to remind myself that I’ve genuinely had my nervous system cop a serious beating from going through traumatic hell this year on top of already trying to heal from everything else I’ve been through 💔
I really do want to try this out though. even if it’s really super simple intentions. I just hope I don’t punish myself too much for not being able to do certain things

So my intentions were to go to work every shift and to check in with my emotions daily.
I dressed and ready for my last shift this block. So that’s a pass.
Checking in with my emotions was hard but I tried. I realise I have extreme anxiety at work though.

Making it Smart steps
One to pick up when I spiral feeling unsafe and not give those people my energy this is going to be hard. (Submitting a document that makes you have to think of them makes it hard)
Cook some school snacks for the kiddos
Try and focus on my food intake I haven't been eating which isn't helping anything
Than will do and attempt to not beat myself up if it falls apart.

1. So much happened last week for me and I just needed space to process it all and sit with it for a while, so the intention I wrote down wasn't really a focus. I said that I would like to set boundaries with my brother, regarding looking after my niece every day after work, for long hours and into the night and it didn't really come up this week. I'm thankful though, because with so much on, it's something that would have been added to my already overwhelmingly full plate.
2. Hmmm...I'm not sure.
3. I think I'm going to change this week, while keeping last week's intention in the background - I would like to pick up my journal again, starting writing again.

my intention this week @AuntGlow is to work on finding out why i am becoming so anxious again, last time i felt this anxious i had a full breakdown. im trying to find what is triggering it and working on trying to prevent it going further.

@tyme I'll keep you all updated. I used to journal a couple of times a week, but it's been a couple of months now. It helps to create space in my head...
I always have a lot on my mind. I have a busy brain. Journalling used to help with that. It used to help me get stuff out.
It's probably just anxious brained stuff, so maybe not sharing here is a good idea.
