I was speaking to a psychologist who said there's research around journalling and how effective it can be to 'get things out' @MissinTooth

@AuntGlow I'll try to stay with my intentions. The "Rose rose thorn bud" journalling makes me connect with topical feelings and express gratitude and anticipation. And the very simple task of regular early nights that I find so impossible is needing deconstruction re feelings of safety and security. I get wound up tighter than a clockspring (if you're old enough to remember clockwork timepieces) and need to release and regulate that tension. It taps into very early trauma.
I'll persevere.

My intention last week was to get some things organised, begin packing and maybe a little de-cluttering along the way. I got it stated, but I ended up with my fatigue getting in the way of my intention.
I find it hard to maintain my motivation. Balancing my physical health, my chronic fatigue and my chronic pain mean I give up easily.
* This week my intention is to pace myself more with packing my things and do at least one box of packing. I have a week to get it done, I move next Monday.
Im glad my ndis provider is funding a van and a lot of the things I dont have to pack/move as another client will move into my current house soon enough. I have the help of my support staff to help me pack if it gets too much.

1. I managed to go to work every shift. I did try and check in with what I’m feeling but that was hard as I was feeling numb. But deeply depressed
2. I need support to get my depression more manageable.
3. Same as last week with the inclusion of trying to have a shower everyday.

@AuntGlow since I only joined mid week I will start this week. I have very low motivation so I am going to try my best to stick to my intentions.
My intention for the week ahead is to read my Bible every night
I also want to start healthy eating habits so I am making sure I don't bring home any sweets or fattening foods from the supermarket where my bro works.

I love reading through everyone else's intentions and seeing how they went last week.
I feel as though I did make more time for mindfulness, though it wasn't quite in the way I though I would by sitting down to meditate each day. I only did that a few times, but I did feel like I had more mindful moments during my days where I just focused on being present which I hope I can continue this week
This week I think my intention is going to be to move my body more, it get so hard to do on these gloomy winter days!
