It's Sunday! (Barely.)
Well this is proof my intention of early nights hasn't always worked out.
For this week I'll try to refind my zen in mindful domesticity to overcome returned pain and gut issues - associated no doubt with my mental state and family conflict.

I understand - I think fatigue that accompanies doing the things that stretch our window of tolerance in any way is really human, especially if we have chronic fatigue. I am proud of you for trying your best.

@Captain24 Going to work in the cold, whilst feeling depressed truly is a huge feat. How has it been for you this week? And have you been able to keep yourself warm with some showers?

ooh, healthy eating habits can be hard, can't they? I have a big sweet tooth... opting for things like bliss balls can be a helpful substitute. Becoming curious about the reasons for my eating habits has also been insightful. However, it's important to be gentle with yourself, even when you eat exactly what you are craving (because you are human and that is allowed too!). 💛

Well… showing up was the right thing to do… and I did it.
Last night could have been problematic with a man, but I was diplomatic, assertive and even got to swear and laugh in my mother tongue.
Today,
Sat in a church transept, 7 of us. I was assertive, plus cracked jokes, didn’t take on conflict, discussed the leadership style briefly as I left, and decided, he needed management, but not to take his crankiness into my soul. He was better behaved today, I also made utterance of my grandson.p, in context of 2 people who may have seen him more recently than I. Some things are Sacred, even if some people are atheist. Absence and Presence matter.

Thanks @AuntGlow . Mindful domesticity, zen-wise is anything really, particularly anything rhythmic or repetitive. It's just how you approach it. Empty mind and being at one with the task. There's even a little book by a Japanese monk on how to clean the different features of a Zen temple and monastery. The details don't matter, it's the attitude.
My life is essentially meaningless and even my own space (house and garden) feels alien and out of control so I try to refind myself in chores, decluttering and gardening. And hope I'll rediscover something that sparks joy.

It took me a while to get back to writing down just one thing that I am proud of each day. I have done it consistently now for the past 10 days. I also did my homework for the psychologist by writing down my successes at Tafe.
