Re: Tabaluga's

@TAB hey tabby, hope you're having a good nap. Mentally trying to get over recent mum and brother demand for money. Drinking water. Chilling. Take care.

Re: Tabaluga's

Good on you for doing stuff around the house @SmilingGecko

Yeah, I never tried for the NDIS. I got on the DSP a long time ago which I am very grateful for.

Re: Tabaluga's

The economist represents the capitalists so of course it would claim that as would all the mainstream media. @SmilingGecko .

Re: Tabaluga's

I put all the clothes that were too big for

me in a charity bin @SmilingGecko . I haven’t gone through the wardrobe yet will get to that next week. Might have another hag to donate to charity too big and too small probably. Footy on in a minute. I already ate.

Re: Tabaluga's

Thanks for that clarification @GezzaP makes sense. What are you up to today? I just did laundry dont know what else to do this afternoon. Got so busy forgot to cook lunch, may have it for dinner. Its quite nice out there today. Cat wanted to go outdoors in the sunshine she really is a Soleil cat. That is her name.

Re: Tabaluga's

@GezzaP yeah mine were too tatty for charity. Could have possibly given it to a recycle company like I did previously for them to recycle and turn into commercial rags. Just not up for it with all that going on atm. I dont know the recycler I gave it to last time. It was via facebook and i no longer have a facebook account. They may ask for money to come and pick it up now idk, some recycle companies are like that now. Enjoy the footy

Re: Tabaluga's

saw a clip online today where was stated last year most ok US citizens asked for food relief at same time as most ever went on holiday to Europe. Bottom 50% in US is in debt, has no savings and has to rely on welfare to top up wages @GezzaP

Re: Tabaluga's

I’m watching my footy team @SmilingGecko . They play in 40 minutes. I will watch the other game too. Went for a walk around the garden. It is sunny now but cold. No longer walk for me today. I’ll walk to the shop tomorrow if it’s not raining. Did my physio exercises and had a massage this morning. Had lunch early and did dishes. Having chocolate for dessert. Had a cuppa after lunch.

Re: Tabaluga's

5 years ago in australia public was being charged $125,000 per person per year to imprison someone.People generally dont commit crimes unless some sort of need ?

most aboriginal women in jail are there for not being able to pay fines.

dole is like $20k pa Bargain. Widely argued by corporate ausstrallia it could be doubled. 'welfare spending  bad' is old Tory trope .. all the money goes straight to others, supporting th economy eg $5 billion in landlord subsidies for low income earners

US has higher incarceration rate than Russia, China or North Korea. Jails are Big Business.

Having the right level of poorness and poor people(carrot and stick) is part of capitalist society even in more fair countries like Australia. Yet being poor is a crime.
