One of the regulations where I live limits size of things and locations items are placed, all about clear access to front and back if needed by emergency services. If I could I would have from back of the unit to the back fence turned into cat enclosure.
One option I’m thinking of is automated alfresco awnings for variety of reasons. I don’t have horizontal beam over longest section of alfresco, this possibly causing issues.
other option I’ve thought of is cat enclosure that will need cat tunnel plus cat door. One I prefer are very sturdy as made from galvanised steel and am able to buy different accessories. Not sure my 2 would use it.
